The Position:

The tasks of the Data Base Manager is a combination of tasks that include capabilities of Data Engineering, Analytics and Data Management, this role must be the big-picture thinker who understands the value of data to the organization and the importance of good information management practices including information lifecycle management, information modelling, master data management and business requirements gathering.

In this position you are responsible for improving business performance and Match&Merge Data, maintain data streams, transform data (ETL), GDPR Management and Automating processes like data loads to meet the requirements of the business strategies and business processes.

Responsibilities

You will work on various aspects of Data Base management including but not limited to:

• Acting as the Informatics representative to define Information and Data Strategies as part of an overall Business Strategy.
• Identifying areas for improvement in terms of information flows and structure, automation, information representation and advising project teams in best practice and implementation.
• Improving the overall quality of the enterprise data assets through the effective application of best practice in information design.
• Documentation review and approval.
• Translating business requirements into system requirements.
• Assisting the Business with data management activities.
• GDPR Management: Extract lists of new DB-entries and adapt to local needs.

Skills:

• Proven working experience in SQL, Visual Basic, MS Access databases. Ability to create SQL queries.
• Understands database structures and their relationships, as well as data models and data standards.
• German bilingual and professional English level are required.
• 3+ years of data bases management.
• Bachelor’s Degree with strong data understanding.
